Today's generation feels that its chances of prosperity are diminishing. One of our Romanian climate ambassadors, Constantin Theodor Iordache discussed the topic with young people in his area and also wrote a report about it:
During a trip with my classmates in the outskirts of Iași, I asked some of them about their opinion on climate change. The responses I’ve got are very interesting, showing that this issue is something that matters to the youth, and hopefully, their ideas will reach the world and make everyone do at least a small step towards reducing the causes of climate change.
I had prepared three questions for them:
-
What do you think about climate change and what do you think of that?
-
How can we stop, or at least, slow down the effects of climate change?
-
Do you think that the people around you are worried about climate change or at least do they realize that this is an actual problem?

1. I consider that climate change is a worldwide fundamental problem, and it must be stopped or at least reduced as fast as possible. Everyone should do any small thing, no matter how unimportant, in order to fix this problem.
2. Well, in the first place, we could use more public transport or bicycles, we can even start walking more, than just using so many cars. We also might not leave trash when we go, for example, out in the forest for a picnic. When we might see trash, we could collect it, even though we didn’t leave trash behind.
3.People realize that, but they think that it’s not a big deal, and they do nothing to fix it.

1.Climate change is represented by all the factors that influence the environment we live in, from temperature to types of relief and life conditions.
2.Pollution is an important factor. We must reduce pollution, that’s why I propose to use more electrical devices and less devices that work with fossil fuels. The best example, all the cars produced before 2003 should be banned, and be replaced by electric cars. We should also plant more trees, because nowadays we make a lot of parking lots by cutting trees.
3.No. People don’t realize, they have other problems. Just those who are concerned with environmental protection, they are the only ones who worry about this issue.

1. Hmm, well, I, through “climate change”, as this sequence represents, I understand any modification that affects the normal parameters of the Planet.
2.Well, to do this, we should first realize the existence of this problem. I know that right now there are many information campaigns in order to make people understand this topic better, and this is a first step in order to raise awareness. We could start with small things, like, to not throw trash everywhere, to use green energy, like public transport, and less and less the cars and other devices that pollute.
3.Yeah, I think they are, but they aren’t worried enough in order to take initiative.

Climate change, in the first place, is not good for the contemporary world in which we live. Everything started from industrialization, air pollution with noxious substances, ozone depletion, and boom, climate change

Right now, we can’t stop it. How can you stop all the working factories? What we can do is to help the environment, use cold water when doing laundry, and stop throwing plastic. We should also sort the trash properly and consume less products that are bad for the planet.

There are people who are aware of this problem, and then, there are people who have no idea. I still see people who throw things on the street randomly, how could you tell that person who throws garbage on the street about recycling?
