Final Conference of the Game On! project, taking place on September 19-20, 2023, in the vibrant city of Brussels, Belgium. Brace yourselves for an event that promises to redefine how we approach climate change challenges.
What's Game On! All About?
Game On! is a groundbreaking initiative led by CEEweb, powered by the Development Education and Awareness Raising (DEAR) programme. This project, a collaboration of 10 partners from 8 Central and Eastern European countries, has harnessed the power of gamification and youth engagement to confront the looming existential threat of climate change. Over the last four years, Game On! has worked closely with 200+ Young Climate Ambassadors from the CEE region to develop an impressive array of gamified tools, from geocaching challenges and board games to a cutting-edge mobile app and even climate comedy shows!
The Grand Finale: "Climate Change: Game Over or Game On?"
As Game On! reaches its climactic conclusion, we're inviting you to be part of the grand finale! Our two-day hybrid event will unite youth activists, representatives from youth organizations, decision makers, and media professionals in a riveting discussion about the power of gamification in climate change awareness and education. We'll also explore the pivotal role of youth in addressing the triple planetary crisis.
