Katalin has been working as a biologist on nature conservation in Romania with Milvus Group for more than 25 years. She has pioneered the development of conservation educational programmes and has worked tirelessly on various rural development projects to promote organic farming, and also supported high quality research on ecosystem services.

In her spare time she also enjoys nature, cycling or growing organic vegetables in her secluded rural garden.

"Working in conservation mostly feels like a never-ending fight. Over the past nearly 30 years, the country's natural heritage has been disappearing in front of my eyes. The GameOn community makes me optimistic. I get to work with many young people and enthusiastic teams on the project in order to join the fight for preventing a climate catastrophe that is already happening."
