Wondering how CEEweb and biodiversity are connected to this festival?
Imagine a family- and animal-friendly event without serious sound and light pollution. Music is gentle, nighttime is silent, and people feel responsible for nature. A festival, where there are no trash bins and no littering. Everybody goes barefoot to connect in the most natural way with the earth, protecting soil and water with compost toilets and biodegradable cosmetics. People are enjoying being in peace, smiling, and enjoying the cosy community they are in.
Sounds idyllic? It is!
CEEweb for Biodiversity is engaged to support such sustainable events with its presence. Not only because of human well-being but because of the peace and protection of nature and biodiversity. During this summer, we made a promise for ourselves to introduce our work around by travelling around the country.
We have been to the Tapasztalj, Manas, HUG, Szellősrét festivals and met tons of lovely people. We talked about our board game, projects, vision, mission, and challenges in a gamified and serious way as well. We played with families, and we played with friends. We played with children, and we played with adults. We played the same game, but each time it seemed new and different. We enriched many new national and international contacts and had wonderful talks about climate change, and organic, sustainable living during the Terra Futura board game sessions and even beyond. Now, we are closing the summer season and hereby we would like to thank you for all your support and open mind. Thank you for the "HUG - Hungarian Handpan & Worldmusic Gathering" for hosting us, and the "Game on!" project!
Meanwhile, if you have missed the chance to try our board game, contact us, or visit the Shantee House and Bolygó in Budapest to have a try.
We hope to meet you in the next summer as well!
Stay natural and protect biodiversity every day!
